Game to go ahead?

As Britain freezes and transportation is difficult, the officials at Boundary Park are hopeful that Saturday's clash with Tranmere Rovers will still go ahead. With a covering of six inches of snow currently protecting the playing surface from freezing, and with the possibility of above feezing temperatures and rain forecast, things are looking promising.

On the playing front, Chris Taylor and Pawel Abbott should be back for the big match as well as Monday's trip to Hartlepool United. Their return to the squad will be a welcome relief for manager Dave Penney. Defender Reuben Hazell will definitely be out after picking up a one match suspension due to his yellow card at Wycombe Wanderers last Saturday.
