Anthony Gerrard has rejoined the Latics and went straight into the squad at Shrewsbury Town, his former club. Gerrard returns to Boundary Park on a deal which will keep him until the end of the season.
In his former spell at the club he played six times and helped the club to keep three clean sheets. His performance at Shrewsbury was impressive as he helped the defence keet their first league shut-out since the 0-0 draw at Rochdale back in October.
