Ex Latics keeper Paul Gerrard has signed on as a player on non-contract forms as manager Paul Dickov looks to provide additional cover between the sticks. Gerrard is now 37 and made a total of 136 first-team appearances for the Latics before being transferred to Everton in a £1million deal in 1996.
Dickov admitted, "Josh Ollerenshaw has been doing well, but signing Paul provides additional cover and also experience just in case we were to suffer another injury."
