Former Latics captain Sean Gregan is on his way out of Boundary Park after new manager Dave Penney told him that his contract would not be renewed. The 35-year-old defender will therefore become a free agent when his current deal expires. Penney explained to the official website, "I sat down with Sean this morning and his contract will not be renewed this summer. Sean is a great professional and I am sure he will soon find another club. We wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his sterling service to this club."
