Sean Gregan was one of the players to be rested for the Carling Cup second-round defeat at Burnley on Tuesday. Gregan was suffering from a hip problem but is is expected to be fit for Saturday's League One match at Colchester. John Sheridan is expected to revert back to the team which convincingly beat Cheltenham 4-0 last Saturday. Alan Hardy explained, "Sean took a bang early in the season and it is taking time to settle down. The worry was that had he played last Saturday and then again on Tuesday he would have missed Saturday's league game at Colchester."
