Gregs is the difference

Super Sean Gregan is the major difference to Athletic's amazing start to the season and he is the main reason why the team is ticking over so competently according to keeper Mark Crossley.

Crossley told Latics World, "There's no doubt that he was man of the match on Saturday. We are a different team when he is in the side. Sean is a leader - he's strong, he bullies people and he's a player we really missed last season. That just shows the difference he makes when he's in the team. Now Sean's got to stay fit and lead us all the way through the season. Hopefully the experienced players can stay out on the pitch and stay fit, and if that happens we'll have a better chance at the end of the season."

MK Dons are a good team, and I said at the beginning of the season they and Peterborough would be up there as they both have the ability to spend money. MK Dons were by far the best team in League Two last season and there's not that much difference between the two divisions. I'm not surprised they are doing well. But it'll be tough for them to come here and get a result, and hopefully we can keep our home form going as well as winning away."
