Orient's Gary Hooper has accused Will Haining of cheating to get Gary Alexander sent off in Saturday's draw at Brisbane Road. Alexander's first booking came for stopping a quick free kick by Sean Gregan free-kick so the referee was left with no option but to send him off after lunged at Haining.

Hooper told Orient's official website, "He cheated really. He never touched him. He wanted to get him sent off because he'd been booked already."

Haining fired back and told the official Latics website, "If Hooper wants to make those comments then that's up to him. The referee gave the red card and it's clear what happened. Both myself and Gary Alexander know what went on." As a result, Alexander will now serve an automatic one match ban.
