Latics central defender Will Haining has had part of his heel shaved in an attempt to relieve his recent pain. Haining needed the surgery after suffering discomfort when wearing football boots. He is expected to be fully fit to return with the remainder of Athletic’s squad when pre-season training starts on 1st. July.
