Will Haining is back in training and has set his sights on a return to action on Saturday when the Latics travel to table topping Plymouth Argyle. Haining has been out of action for eight weeks since getting tearing his hamstring at Hartlepool.Iain Dowie is struggling for defenders and Haining will be a big boost but the manager is still hoping to bring a new face or two in before the big game. If Haining is ready for action Dowie may opt for a forward as he is only allowed to sign one outfield player.
