Hall pleads innocence

Centre back Fitz Hall is disappointed after being sent off at Brentford for two bookable offences. ‘One Size’ said, “It (the second booking) was wrong because I took the ball and never touched the player. It wasn’t a dirty tackle. I tried to
get in front of him, then he stepped away and I just tried to get my leg through. The one in the first half was probably a booking, but I was really disappointed with the other decision. I was enjoying the game up till then and we were the
team playing all the football.”

A supportive Iain Dowie commented, “The lad isn’t that type of player and it was a poor decision by the referee. Fitz is a colossal figure for us, so his ban will be a big blow.” Hall is suspened for the home game against Wycombe Wanderers on August 31st.
