Saturday`s 1-0 home win over Huddersfield lifted Dickov`s men to 11th in npower League One and maintained their unbeaten home record.
"If we don't achieve something this season, be it automatic promotion or the play-offs, then we're going to be a disappointed bunch," said Hazell.
"People might say we're putting pressure on ourselves but we know what we've got and it doesn't take a performance like this one to make us think we're good enough - we know that we are.
"The teams with the most consistency will always get promoted, at this level most teams there or thereabouts can beat anyone on their day."
