Reuben Hazell looks like he will be able to take his place in the team for the visit to Brighton on Saturday. The defender was doubtful as he was suffering from a painful kick to the foot. Hazell was sent for precautionary x-rays after last Saturday's 3-0 thrashing of Yeovil but they came back okay. With manager John Sheridan struggling for defensive cover the news will be a boon to him but he has still not given up hope of bringing in a new face before the Latics trip south at the weekend.
