Reuben Hazell has signed a new deal which will keep him at Boundary Park until the end of the 2010/11 season. The defender, who had an outstanding game in last Saturday's 0-0 draw at league leaders Leicester City, is 29 and became a regular first teamer after joining Athletic on an initial one month deal in 2007. Hazell has scored two goals in 73 appearances and has indicated that he would like to spend the rest of his playing career at Athletic.
