Clint Hill (24) is ready to return to the fold and give the Latics promotion drive a big boost. The hard hitting centre half made a surprise comeback for the reserves midweek after being out of action from a broken leg sustained in the Worthington Cup game at Crystal Palace. His fractured fibula is currently held together with screws.

With six matches of the campaign left he is expected to take part in half of them. Les Pogliacomi still remains doubtful for the Barnsley game although he is making good progress.
