Athletic have begun talks with Bolton in a bid to sign on loan Dean Holden. Holden is keen on the switch as he believes his chances will be few and far between at the Reebok Stadium. Bolton will be asking a fee for the 22 year old defender although it is not expected to be high. Signed by Andy Ritchie, Holden made 27 appearances with three as a sub. As Scott McNiven has been released Athletic's only other right-back youngster Michael Clegg.
