Horners to change sponsorship emphasis

The Latics have made an official press statement through the official website as follows:

Whilst Oldham Athletic are set to unveil a new shirt sponsor for next season, current sponsors Horners Motor Group are in negotiations with the Club to direct its sponsorship to other areas associated with Latics. To date no agreement has been made but the Club and Horners are hoping to finalise details over the summer.

Commenting Director of Marketing at the Club, Sean Jarvis said, "Horners have been a tremendous sponsor. They were very supportive of the Club when Oldham Athletic had survival issues. They have also been very proactive in communicating with our supporters and building new fans to the Club. We look forward to discussing ways in how our partnership can develop for future seasons."

Commenting Richard Haytack, Chairman for Horners Motor Group added, "I was delighted to help the Club over the past couple of years and as a Latics fan be the main sponsor. Even though the title sponsorship has come to an end we are still looking to be commercially involved in the club and build on our excellent relationship."
