Hughes loaned to Blackpool

Joe Royle has sensationally allowed Lee Hughes to join Blackpool on loan until the end of the season. Having already disclosed that that the striker would not be selected for Saturday's game at the Matchroom Stadium, it begs to ask the question of what has gone on behind the scenes?

Royle failed to beat the deadline to bring in another striker in Hughes' place so he will select from Lewis Alessandra, Steven Kabba and Deane Smalley for a starting place up front. Rumours are also abounding that the new boss will sign a two year deal, and an announcement will be made public soon, so he appears to be building his team for next season.
