Injury jinx strikes again

Oldham's longest serving player, Paul Rickers, has suffered a broken ankle in the reserves game against West Brom which was played on a bumpy pitch at non-league Halesowen Town. Rickers is out of contract in the summer and has started only one first team game since Wadsworth took over the helm.

He went for further checks in hospital and it was revealed that he could also have ligament damage. Wadsworth said, β€œIt doesn't look too good. It's unlucky for Ricks – and the amount of serious injuries we've had is amazing.”
