Athletic will visit King's Lynn in the second round of the FA Cup to be played during the weekend of 2-3rd. December. King's Lynn are currently top of the British Gas Business (Southern) Premier League and have lost just two league games this season.

The last time a League Club visited The Walks, home of King's Lynn, was in the FA Cup in 1964 when Shrewsbury Town won 1-0 in front of 4,183 supporters. Lynn have previously defeated Aldershot Town, the first Football League club to be defeated at The Walks in 1959. That game was played in front of 6,533 supporters.

The current capacity at The Walks is around 3,500 so tickets will be at a premium as there is a lot of interest in this game. It is expected that the game will be shown live on TV but this is still to be confirmed.
