Struggling Swansea manager Kenny Jackett was quick to praise the Latics after they completed the double over his team on Saturday and pushed themselves back into top spot in League One.

Jackett said, "It was very disappointing, and I felt Oldham were the better side and deserved the points. They bossed the first half and deserved their lead, then we came back into it and made it closer but fell away again. Now we're probably looking at competing for one of the play-off places. Automatic promotion is not impossible, but is very, very difficult now."

"I'm still definitely the right man of for the job. I don't doubt myself. Next week is another game. You accept the boos because this was a fantastic opportunity against a rival at a crucial stage of the season. When you lose at home at this stage you expect to take stick from the fans. We need some results and performances very quickly because we're going to have to turn this around fast if we're going to have a realistic stab at promotion. Whether I'm under more pressure than normal is for others to speculate, but I know I'm disappointed with my players' performance."
