JJ gets another call up

Jermaine Johnson has received another International call up for Jamaica but the Latics are asking the Jamaican F.A. not to enforce the call up rule. The game is a friendly against Venezuela on April 28th. in Kingston, Jamaica but JJ would have to leave on Sunday 25th. April which is the day after the Latics travel to Swindon for what could be a very important league fixture.

To lose a player at such an important time of the season would be devastating, not to mention the possibility of potential injury. JJ would not return to the UK until Friday 30th. April which is the day before the final home game of the season against Chesterfield. He would still be suffering from jetlag which is another reason why the Latics are hopeful that the call up rule will not be enforced.
