Jonny to stay

Jonny Smith will remain at Boundary Park until the end of the season. A new, improved deal has been agreed with his parent club Bristol City. The original contract included a January recall clause but both clubs have agreed that it is in Jonny's best interests to remain. He has been a big hit with the fans and has scored 7 goals in 23 appearances.

Dino Maamria commented, “The club have worked very hard to get this done after interest from others, due to the fine form he has been in. He's a big part of this team this season and he's really enjoying his time here, so it was only right we tried to keep hold of him, which I am sure the fans will be happy about.”
