Cardiff's Ben Wilson has joined the Latics on loan until January.
He recently signed a new contract keeping him at Cardiff until 2017. He has also appeared for Sunderland, Chesterfield, Accrington and Wimbledon.
Wilson was also on loan at Rochdale at the conclusion of the 2016/17 season.
