Ex-Latics manager Darren Kelly has been appointed as manager of Northern Premier League club Hyde United. Kelly was previously in charge at Halifax Town before he was dismissed from his role.
United are struggling at the wrong end of the table, three points clear of the relegation zone but having played two extra games.
