Neil Kilkenny has shocked the Boundary Park faithful as well as dumbfounding all the pundits. As fans were waiting to see whether he stayed at Boundary Park or whether the lure of Doncaster's money could prise him away, he shocked everybody by signing for Leeds United. It was a decision that took everybody by surprise.Leeds have taken the midfielder on loan from Birmingham with a view to a permanent deal. They have already offered a long term deal with the Australian international but in the short term have concluded an emergency loan in an attempt to make him available for tomorrow's game against Northampton Town.
Ironically it was at Leeds where Kilkenny concluded his load period with Athletic in last week's humbling of the Elland Road outfit. Latics fans have been generous in their praise for the contribution of Kilkenny in his load spells at Boundary park and everyone wishes him well at the Whites.
