It has been reported by GHANAsoccernet.com that French defender Enock Kwarteng has turned down a loan deal to join the Latics.
The 20-year-old, who plays for Nantes, is deemed surplus to requirement at the French club. He has been to Oldham with his teammate Wilfred Moimbém but has refused to sign any deal.
Kwarteng is a France youth international having represented the country from U16’s up to U20’s level and is of Ghanaian descent.
