Frankie Bunn was full of praise for his team after they picked up their first win of the season over Macclesfield Town on Saturday. The decisive goals came from Sam Surridge, Johan Branger-Engone and an Ishmael Miller.

Bunn said, “I thought first half we were very good, I thought we dominated the half and it was another step in the right direction. They had some big players in there who put us under immense pressure but, we came through it and I thought we defended well at times, the only question mark would be that we got too deep. I've played up front myself and I wouldn’t say it’s a relief, but it’s great to get off the mark and it sets you up to go and kick on. It’s terrific to have competition for the places and the squad is looking much stronger, but it’s just a small step in the season, but a step in the right direction.”
