The Latics have appointed 27 year old Dave Kershaw as their new physiotherapist. Kershaw qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 2001 and was with Team Bath, the university side, which reached the first round of the FA Cup last season. He studied at the University of Surrey and has been involved in sport since the age of 18. He played rugby union for Harlequins and London Scottish Developments and also worked with the British gymnastics team.

Dave said, “Sport has been my life and because of that background I always wanted to specialise. I am very much looking forward to the challenge here at Oldham Athletic.”
