Athletic have confirmed that they are one of several clubs chasing Gretna goalkeeper Greg Fleming. Gretna were relegated from the Scottish Premier League in March and are currently in administration. If they fail to attract a buyer by the 17th. May they face liquidation. Many of the club's senior players have already been told they are free to find other clubs as Gretna cannot pay some of their wages.
The 21 year old keeper has been training with other clubs and it is rumoured that Crewe have also been showing interest.
