The Latics kicked off their pre-season San An Cup tournament with a convincing 7-0 hammering of San Jose, Ibiza's local team. San Jose had lost 5-0 the previous night to Wycombe Wanderers which means that Athletic's meeting with Wycome (7th. July) will determine which team will win the cup.Andy Todd, Athletic's trialist, scored a hat trick on his debut for the Latics against the Spanish part time team. Chris Killen (pictured) bagged a brace and Paul Warne and Chris Porter completed the scoring. Manager Ronnie Moore used the game to experiment and he put out different teams for both halves
