Latics need to bounce back again

John Sheridan was looking forward to tonights game at Port Vale and is hoping that the Latics can bounce back once again after their disappointing home loss to Millwall on Saturday.

Shez said, "Obviously it was disappointing not to win against Millwall as we would have been in a great position. We definitely missed the players who were absent, but that's gone now and I'm concentrating on the Vale game. We're having a better season that everyone thought, and I'm confident we can get back on track. Port Vale started the season very well and were scoring lots of goals, and they'll be a big threat. They had a bad result on Saturday but we'll be expecting a difficult game, they all are in this division. I always think we can get three points. If we prepare correctly we can win no matter who the opposition are."

The squad for tonights game is: Les Pogliacomi, Simon Charlton, Craig Rocastle, Will Haining, Stefan Stam, Paul Edwards, Chris Hall, Paul Warne, Gary McDonald, Moussa Dabo, Chris Taylor, Chris Porter, Andy Liddell, Matty Wolfenden, Michael Pearson, Neal Eardley, Kelvin Lomax, Alan Blayney.
