Latics only muster a point

The latics could only muster a point from their clash with troubled Luton Town at Boundary Park. Craig Davies put the Latics ahead in the 32nd. minute only for Fojut to level the scores two minutes later. Although the home side dominated the game throughout, they didn't have enough killer instinct to get that vital second goal that would have underlined their dominance.

The lone point saw the Latics drop a league place to 17th. which must be worrying for the administrative team. They need to start picking up the wins now if they are to have a realistic chance of promotion. It's still early and they are only 7 points off a play-off spot with a game in hand, but on the other hand they are only 5 points off a relegation spot.

The Christmas period will be crucial and could map out the rest of the season for the Oldham faithful. Come on you blues........
