Hillstone Developments who signed the biggest corporate deal in the club's history, have approached the Athletic board with the idea to reduce entry prices for two Christmas games in an effort to boost attendances. As a result, supporters will be able to gain admission to the games against Brighton and Hove Albion (16th December) and Northampton Town (23rd December) for just £2 for adults and OAP's and £1 for under-16's.

The Oldham Evening Chronicle are also supporting the venture as part of the Football League's "Fans of the Future" initiative. Athletic's managing director Simon Corney said, “The football has been fantastic this season and we hope everyone can get behind the team, not just for both matches but for this season and beyond. It ties in with our long-term goal of increasing attendances at Boundary Park. If this club is to continue its upward trend, we need to get more people through the gate.”
