The Latics have taken two Crystal Palace players on loan for an initial one month period. Goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan (pictured) and left back Lee Hills will both be vying for places in the starting line up to face Leeds United in Saturday's FA Cup encounter.

Flahavan's career began at Southampton but made a name for himself with Southend United where he won the Player's Player of the year award in the 2005/6 season. Hills has made 14 starts for Palace and would slot in well for Alan Sheehan who has now returned to his home club, Leeds United. Hills has previously played for Wimbledon and Arsenal.
