John Sheridan has signed Leon Constantine on loan from Leeds United. The 30 year old made his debut against Hartlepool, coming off the bench after the injury to Jordan Robertson who had to limp out of the game. Constantine scored 26 goals last season for Port Vale but is short of match fitness.

Constantine has suffered a series of injuries this year. He sustained a broken arm when he played against Athletic on New Year's Day. Sheridan said, "He hasn't played much football and I think you could see that out on the pitch. I brought him in to try and give us a bit of a boost because we know what he can do at this level. We know he's not match-fit and needs games and we're hoping he can get a few games under his belt."
