Latics boss John Sheridan has moved quickly to sign his second goalkeeper of the week as his keeper crisis has recently gone worse. The new player is 19 year old Adam Legzdins who has joined the Latics from Birmingham City on a month's loan.

The first year professional is highly rated by the coaching staff at St. Andrew's and the young keeper is expected to be named in the squad who entertain Brentford on Saturday.

Legzdins spent part of last season on loan at Halifax Town and also appeared for Conference North side Alfreton. He also appeared on the bench for Birmingham in the the Championship game against Derby County.
