City youngster joins on loan

Nineteen year old Manchester City keeper Kieran Westwood has joined the Latics on loan as back up to Les Pogliacomi. He has made a couple of appearances for the reserve side and has had rave reviews whilst playing for City's Academy side. Westwood has signed a one month deal and hopes to impress at Boundary Park. He said, “I am looking forward to the challenge.”
