Athletic have signed former Manchester United striker David Williams after the 17-year-old was released last February. He agreed a one year deal on first professional contract although he is still technically a trainee.Williams will be eligible to play for Athletic's youth team and is regarded as a player for the future. After a serious knee injust which required surgery, Williams should be back in action for September.
