Leeds could be without two strikers

When Leeds United visit Boundary Park on Tuesday they could be missing their main strikers as Tresor Kandol and Jermaine Beckford (pictured) were both sent off in Leeds draw at Gillingham. To compound matters, manager Dennis Wise was also shown the red card.

Kandol was shown a second yellow card by referee Danny McDermid after sarcastically applauding a decision against his team. His previous card was for dissent after 26 minutes of the game. The manager was dismissed after half time shenanigans with the referee. Beckford walked in the second half after firstly being shown a yellow card for kicking the ball away. He was then sent off after a challenge on Sean Clohessy.

Kandol has no right of appeal and will definitely serve his one match ban against the Latics but it is not clear whether Beckford was given a straight red or a second yellow card for his sending off. If it was a straight red he will be able to appeal and that appeal would be held on Tuesday, but if it was a second yellow card then Beckford will also serve an automatic ban meaning he cannot take part in the 'battle of the roses' clash.
