Leicester boss disappointed

Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson thought that his side should have returned home from Boundary Park with all three points after the 1-1 draw. He told the official Foxes's site, "We could have done better. It's disappointing to have taken the lead and only to come away with a point, but I think Oldham played well. They asked a lot of questions of us and at times it was a bit of a scrap. But I also thought that we looked dangerous on the break. It could have gone either way. We had our chances today but unfortunately we didn't take them when they arose. That's disappointing - but having said that it is another tough game on the road and we remain unbeaten on our travels."

"You have to put these disappointments behind you and move on. It is as simple as that. We are now 10 games in and we have got 23 points. It has been a decent start. I was a little bit disappointed that we didn't keep the ball as well as we have shown we can do. But that happens from time to time and we have to learn from that. It was a bit of a stuttering performance at times today but we still played decent football and created openings. That is a positive for us."

"Howard has been very unlucky so far having five goals disallowed for the season to date - and he has also hit the post again today. Someone of a lesser character might have thought it was never going to happen. He works very hard for us and he is good in both boxes. He deserved that goal today."
