Ling happy with point

Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling was very happy with his sides dogged display which brought them a point back from Boundary Park. Ling told the official website, "I think we deserved the point. We were the aggressors for most of the game and we defended well too. We'd have taken a point before we came here as they're a decent team - especially their front six - and we were certainly worthy of the draw. I thought they were both soft penalties. There was minimal contact on both but I felt the referee might level it up because there was a foul on Jason Demetriou in the build up to their one. Ryan Jarvis earned our penalty. He's had a tough time this season - he'll be the first to say that - but he's still plugging away and it would have been nice if he could have stuck the chance away himself. Jason took the penalty."

"We didn't have a decision made over who would take one if Boydy was off the pitch, but he's scored before in penalty shootouts so he was as good as anyone out there to take it. It was a poor one, but he stuck in there and JJ got it back in for Jason to score from the rebound. The problem isn't when we travel away, whoever we're playing. We dig in, we're dogged and we're always confident of getting results on the road. The problem lies at home and we've got to turn that around. Teams do come on to us away from home and that can suit us because we're finding it difficult when we have to break teams down. The home record has been poor and that has to change."
