The Latics have signed Jordan Lyden on loan from Aston Villa.
Lynden is a highly rated 22-year-old central midfielder who will remain at Boundary Park until 1st January.
He has represented Australia at under 20s level and will be eligible to play in the next match against Barnsley on Tuesday.
