Swindon Town boss Maurice Malpas was full of praise after he watched his side score three second half goals to bring some feeling of safety to the club. The win took Town to fifteenth in League One with 51 points with just five games to go.

He told the official Swindon website, "We scored two goals close to each other and we killed the game from that. The win gets people talking in a positive manner, and the fans will be looking forward to going into work with three points from the weekend. It was a comfortable win in the end. The team had been playing well enough in recent weeks, but today we got the result. I don't think we played well today, but we got the win and that is all that matters. We have been looking for the luck and we got it today that's for sure. You could see the confidence coming back amongst the players and the crowd and it was nice to see out the last fifteen minutes looking quite comfortable."

"We moved Lee Peacock forward and whilst he hasn't scored enough from midfield, we had been putting so many chances into the box we needed to convert a few. Sometimes you juggle your pack and we got a bit of luck today that's for sure. Anthony McNamee is now on form. He is fit and on his day he is virtually unplayable. For the last four or five games he has been fantastic. Coxy got two today and we are all delighted for him. He came back from a miss, but he bounced back in the right well I don't think he did play particularly well but he came out with two goals."

"The last five games now will give us the springboard to move forward. We can look forward to playing Doncaster Rovers, and we want to put a run together. We are looking for more points and the most important thing now is that we stay together and go forward together."
