The Latics home game against Peterborough United was postponed due to a frozen pitch. Manager Stephen Robinson said,
“It’s a big surprise that the game has been called off. Both our staff and Peterborough United’s thought the game was definitely playable. There was a small 5x5 hard patch but it was only half 12 when the referee made the decision. We’re very disappointed with his decision because we’ve been playing well the last two games and again it was just a big surprise. I don’t think it was a right decision to call it off but we have to respect that the referee’s decision is final.”
