David Mellor looks like he will be on his way out of Boundary Park. Tranmere Rovers have shown interest in the 21-year-old but have not yet followed up with an offer.
Mellor has had little chance to shine but has the option of extending his current contract for a further year with Athletic. He may, however, look for a financial settlement if he is forced out of the club.
