Moore blasts back

Ronnie Moore has been blasted by supporters and un-named persons within the Boundary park camp after the disappointing one point from the last six debacle of the last two games. He has however hit back and hit his own blast when he said, “For some reason, there’s a feeling here that everything has suddenly gone wrong. There are supporters and people within this club who don’t want to talk to you when you lose a game. It’s ludicrous. You’d think we were 20 points adrift in the league, but we are three points off the top. I don’t expect people to be dancing on the table after our performance against Rotherham, but I’m astounded by the attitude.”

“It’s as though the problems from a couple of years ago have left a ghost around the place. Too many people are living in the past. This club has started a new era and we should all be embracing it together. I can guarantee that three points at Southend on Sunday would make everyone go the other way and start walking in the clouds again. I’m not talking about the players here because they know the score, but these doom-and-gloom merchants do nobody any good.”
