Moore faces competition for signings

Ronnie Moore could face competition for the signing of his ex-Rotherham stars Rob Scott and Paul Warne. Both players are set to become free agents and are attracting interest from other clubs. Doncaster Rovers are one of the teams to have shown an interest.

Moore said, "They are two players with lots of experience who would improve our team next season. And, with the transfer window coming into force, the fact they can play in different positions would make them valuable to have around. Obviously I know them very well from my Rotherham days, and Scott can go in at right-back, centre-back, sweeper or midfield. Warne is only small, but he’s a bundle of energy who plays out wide or through the middle as a striker. He’s also a great character and lively, forever taking the mickey out of people and a big influence on the dressing room. That’s the sort of positive person we need because it’s like a morgue in there at times."
