Les Pogliacomi has been nominated for the FA's "Player of the Round" award, for his exploits in the third round tie against Manchester City. The Australian made some fantastic saves as Oldham beat City 1-0 on Saturday. And if you hadn't heard that result yet, welcome back from Mars.

Les's fellow nominees are Paul Jones (Exeter), Kevin Phillips (Southampton), Andy Liddell (Sheffield United) and David Clarke (Yeading).

If Les wins the award, he gets £1000 worth of sports equipment for a local school, club or organisation of his choice, an engraved silver salver and a VIP trip to the FA Cup final as part of the FA's "Team of the FA Cup".

Chris Killen was nominated as a "Player of the Round" for his hat trick against Leyton Orient in the second round of the FA Cup. Latics fans can help Les succeed where Chris narrowly failed, and log on to www.thefa.com. Vote for him in the poll, and you could be sending him on a VIP trip to Wembley, as well as allowing a local school or club to receive £1000 worth of sports equipment.

Ticketing details have been announced for Oldham's next round in the FA Cup. Athletic are at home to Bolton on either 29th or 30th January. The date and time of the match is yet to be confirmed, as neither Sky Sports or the BBC have decided which games are to be shown live. It is possible that Oldham versus Bolton could be given live coverage. But then, that was said about the tie against Manchester City as well.

The prices of tickets will be £18 for adults and £9 for concessions. Vouchers will be issued at the Doncaster Rovers game. Anyone who gets one of these vouchers can get a first priority on tickets for the game.
