Ronnie Moore has told Joe Murphy that he will not be offered terms at Boundary Park. The 24 year old keeper, on loan from West Brom, did not show enough promise on the Isle of Man trip to warrant a regular job and Moore blamed him for the Carlisle goal which defeated Athletic last Sunday. It comes as a shock as Murphy had been invited to appear on the official team picture for next season. It means Athletic will urgently need another keeper as they are due to kick off the season a week on Saturday with only Les Pogliacomi as a recognised keeper. Moore has been talking to a Premiership club with a view to take a goalie on loan.
