It looks like Preston keeper Chris Neal will be joining Athletic. John Sheridan has opened talks with Deepdale manager Paul Simpson in an attempt to bring the 20 year old player in on loan, initially for a one month period. Athletic desperately need back up for Les Pogliacomi and the manager has been reasonably impressed with Neal. He said, "I want to get something sorted as quickly as I can."
